This project is a culmination of careful analysis, community engagement and Chartway Group’s dedication to creating a distinctive development that focuses on green innovations, including the introduction of solar PV panels fitted to c.120 houses and a sustainable urban drainage system, further creating a self-generated and self-supporting site.
In addition, it will protect wildlife with a new reptile hibernacula and enhancement measures, plant of over 5,800 trees and work with KCC’s Heritage team to undergo archaeological investigation programmes to ensure it is of full satisfaction.
To maintain protection to these areas, the development will introduce 20 hectares of public open green space with 36 allotments, meadow planting, multi-use games area, miniature football pitch, play areas, the provision of 35 parking bays and a bridge to ease traffic congestion.
