Skinners's School project hailed a success!

Monday 19th April 2021

Following the recent handover of the prestigious Mitchell Building at Skinners' School in Tunbridge Wells, we revisited the school to see how the school's staff were enjoying their new humanities teaching block.

Edward Wesson, Head Teacher at Skinners' School commented: "The new humanities building ticks lots of boxes and has had a positive impact on the school. It is definitely helping students to focus on academic life, and they certainly use the library a lot more now!"

Talking about the construction of the new building, Paul Johnston, Bursar commented: "We were fortunate to have had Dean Whitehead as site manager on this job – he was first class from start to finish."

The new building, designed by Bell Philips Architects, features stunning brickwork externally and a beautifully designed contemporary interior featuring large vaulted ceiling within the library on the top floor.
