BBS awarded prestigious new school building

BBS is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded main contractor for the majestic new Humanities Building at the prestigious, The Skinners School in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Works include the strip out and demolition of the former gymnasium building currently being used as a sixth form area, and the construction of a new three storey Humanities Building, including associated below ground drainage and external works. 

The new building comprises a Sixth Form Centre and toilets at lower ground floor level, classrooms and an office at upper ground floor level, and a library, conference room, classroom and accessible toilet at first floor level.
Commenting on BBS’s new contract award, Chris Goldsmith, Director, said: “This is a fantastic project to be involved with. We will be constructing a stunning looking building with some very unique features. It will be a building that both BBS and the school will be extremely proud of.”

Edward Wesson, Headmaster of Skinners' School, said: "This project is all about supporting our students’ search for intellectual growth, and is part of the process of making all the school’s facilities fit for the 21st Century. This has the potential to be a truly transformative construction that will benefit every boy at the school.”
